They need you

There are a host of wildlife organisations in Africa that need your help.

The Dewildt Cheetah and Wildlife Centre has just opened its doors to the world via its website. They are building a centre called Reach for the Wild where disabled people can enjoy the wonders of Africa's wildlife. De Wildt desperately needs funds to build this centre. You can also adopt one of the De Wildt animals, and support the Centre in that way. Whatever you can offer, the cheetahs and other animals of De Wildt need your help. Get involved at www.dewildt.org.za

The Tuli Elephants need your help. Currently there are thirty of these elephants at African Game Services near Brits, South Africa. They are the subject of a court case, but in the meantime they need care and attention. The Elephant Welfare and Training Committee, established to ensure that these elephants are properly handled, desperately need funds. So do the elephants which remain in Botswana, where they have outgrown their food resources and are starving to death. They need more land - and you can help. Visit the Rhino and Elephant Foundation's website at www.ref.org.za. If you can make a donation to the Committee or to the Tuli elephants in Botswana just let them know where you want your donation to go.
